Changing from an EOOD to a freelancer, is it a good idea?

I've been a resident in BG for 14+ years and until now, using an EOOD has worked well for me as a freelance content writer with clients all over the world. However, AI has meant my client base is diminishing as every tom, dick and harry thinks they can write good content now. This means I'm taking enough of an income to cover my social payments and pay the 15% tax (yes I know it's only 10% base rate, but there's also the 5% that has to be paid on top).

I'm now wondering whether it will be better for me to operate as a freelancer, for tax purpose, and close my business.

Would love to hear peoples thoughts on the matter
