Organising Private visit travel from India to Bulgaria for parents,

Hi,


I have a question regarding inviting to Bulgaria as Schengen visa with less than 90 days.


I am organizing the travel category as private visit for my parents and they are planned to come on Jan or feb 2026. However the dates are unsure yet.


I took the invitation process from the immigration for the same


I have the following questions for this process

  1. From and To dates in the invitation form - Can this be tentative? 
  2. Is 2 copy of filled and notarised invitation letter enough for a single person ?
  3. I will also attach the rental notarised copy between me and my landlord along with the filled and notarised invitation form to the immigration
  4. I will also enclose the passport copy of my parents .


Any further documents are required to finish this process? if I am missing something, I would really appreciate if someone elaborate the process. Thanks.

I found the link below detaining the instructions for getting such a visa from Bulgaria. Maybe this helps. Apparently one does need an invitation if staying in private accomodation.
