Schengen visa approval pending

Hi,

I have applied schengen visa private visit 90 days for my mother and mother in law. The duration of nothers visa applied is 50 days and 85 days for my mother in law..

Pls note that I created invitation letter for both of them for 90 days period from Bulgaria immigration office.

I received visa for my mom 10 days back only . No updates for my mother in law yet.

I have contacted the Consular of Bulgaria in bulgarian embassy india and I received an update from them as, waiting for an update from sofia headquarters.

I checked with my friends and they got visa for their parents within 15 days however my mother in law has not received it and 20 days have crossed actually. Has anyone faced similar issue.. can someone please explain what we can expect when they mean expecting am update from sofia headquarters.

The reason for private visit is my wife is expecting a baby abd therefore I feel the reason is very strong. Thanks.
