We are bringing our dog this time and have had an AHC when we took her to France. Her rabies vaccine isn’t due to be done again until 2027, however it seems in Bulgaria they require them annually. As I don’t want to be caught out, does anyone know if her 3 year jab is ok or do I need to get it done again.

Revaccination: Annual revaccination is required after the initial vaccination.

Travel: Dogs entering Bulgaria from other countries must be vaccinated against rabies and must have a rabies titer test report, according to Global Paws.

Best get her an appointment to get it done. I hate getting them done unnecessarily but hey ho, At least she will get a passport this time so no more messing about with AHCs.
