Average salary a R&D Engineer?

Hi everyone,

I recently got a job offer from a company in Leuven. The salary that they offered is, Base pay- 4300 gross per month+ shift benefits(different premiums) + other fringe benefits. Rough estimation will be 5100 gross per month, will get 13.92 months salary per year.

I will be moving from Finland and will be staying in Leuven alone. I would like to know whether this is a good salary and how much will be the monthly expense (rough estimation)? Also can you give some estimation on average salary in this area for a R&D Engineer? thanks in advance.
