How do you know where buses stop ( are there bus shelters/signs)?

Guest8456

Using Google Maps, it is difficult to tell where a bus stop/station is, as there is no visible bus shelter.

I've never been to Belgium, please could somebody tell me what signs/markers are used to signify a stop on a bus route? I would need to get the bus from Gent Koekoeklaan, using Google Maps, I would have no idea where to wait for the bus here.

Thank you

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

To find the local bus routes on Google Maps.

1.  Open Google Maps
2.  Zoom into the area you are looking for,
3.  Open the side panel of Google Maps and type in "Bus Routes"
4.  They will appear on the map as a bus stop and the bus numbers that stop there.

Hope this helps.

I know You can download "delijn" official bus app for Vlaanderen. Which can help you.
