Hiking in Volcan Baru & areas near Boquete

I am trying to travel lightly and not to check luggage.....and wondering if a light weight fleece jacket is necessary for hiking in the Volcan Baru area. I understand it can be quite cold at the summit but I don't plan to go that far up. I will probably just hike in the Bajo Mono area and stay lower on the mountain. I am planning for lows of 60 degrees and possible highs of high 80s....Thanks for your advice!

@kathleentitus i would wear a light very rain proof jacket with a removal liner and a hood in the city heat u can still use the rain jacket cool late at night .. been there done that , enjoy is well worth the trip
