good health care in Vung Tau

Hello Expatriates in Vung Tau.

I'm a healthy elderly but with some underlining health issues.  Please recommend some good health care facilities in Vung Tau.  Thank you so much.  Luna

I'm also fairly healthy so I didn't have a lot of experience with the healthcare services in Vũng Tàu.

I had some dental work (cleaning, extraction of wisdom tooth, root canal procedure, zirconium crown) done at this popular dentist:

Nha Khoa Hoa Sứ (Hoa Sứ Dental Clinic)

89B Nguyễn Văn Trỗi St., Phường 4 (ward 4)

Later, that place became too popular (my final cleaning there felt rushed) and so, the last 2 times I had my teeth cleaned in Vũng Tàu, I went here:

Nha Khoa Cát Cát (Cát Cát Dental Clinic)

225 Lê Hồng Phong St., Phường 8 (ward 8)

I also visited this clinic once for consultation with the doctor regarding issues with varicose veins, an ultrasound scan and the prescribed medications:

Phòng Khám Đa Khoa Y Sài Gòn (Y Sài Gòn Clinic)

408B Lê Hồng Phong, Phường 8 (ward 8)

In spite of its name, it is located in Vũng Tàu. I believe it is a branch of the main one in HCMC.

There is also Trung Tam Y Te Vietsov (Vietsovpetro Health Care Center), which is the "Russian Hospital" on the VietSovPetro Compound. I went there once to get a growth on my arm dealt with, and they told me to go to Le Loi Hospital for laser treatment. That was succesful, but Le Loi Hosptal was closed down the week I left Vũng Tàu back in late October. Not sure if they have opened/will open a new one.

There is also Raffles Medical Vung Tau, which is a more up market clinic that is geared toward the expat community. I don't have any personal experience with this one though.

Stay away from Raffles, overpriced band-aid clinic.

Hi, thanks so much for the very detailed information.  Yes, dental work is so important.  I'll treasure it.
