Go on Booking.com there are several to choose from, under $150. Job done.

Your best option, IMO, is to look for a decent hostel in HCM.
Check this site. Hostelworld
Cost of a single bed is usually from $5 up to $12 per day.
These places are very popular with backpacking tourists.

My daughter has a cheap room with own bathroom in a lovely house in Vinhomes Riverside, Long Bien, Hanoi for someone responsible who can sometimes babysit 3 children evenings and weekends. But she wants to find someone who can stay until end January 2018. send me an email at xxx
