Hello, I cannot respond about the Valium or any other alternative, but let me share you my experience trying to get a simple injectable vitamin C.

Like in any other country, some medicines need a prescription signed by a VN-authorized-doctor; and some others can be only found and applied in a medic center, clinic or hospital.

In my case looking for Vitamin C 500mg/5ml, I visited several pharmacies, larges, smalls, in main cities, in towns and none have it....  Finally a clerk in a pharmacy explained me: "go to the medic center at the end of the street". Then, for my single dose I use to get for only US$0.85 in my country, here I paid  $5 for the consultation (the doctor didn't care why I needed it, he just controlled if I have any alergy) + $4 ampoule + $2 for the application....  not allowed to buy and takeout, and that is the procedure no matter if you are foreigner or citizen or because of covid.

In abstract: NEVER buy medicines through Lazada, Shopee, etc (Vietnam has a lot of fake products). If you dont find your medicine after visit 5 pharmacies, then go to a clinic

That's your best option, through a hospital MD and dispensed through the hospital pharmacy.
