Support and network for the broken hearted

SingaporeanAlways

Hello,

This post is meant to connect with expats who are willing to render support and build a network for the broken hearted. It is all in good faith, so if one is meant to troll, please excuse yourself.

I will share briefly where I'm coming from.

So I was doing fine in my country, and then I somehow met a Filipina and got to experience like in the Philippines with her. We broke up on a bad note, but I had an experience of my life getting around and making new friends.

Now that I'm back in my country, I miss the Philippines. Despite all that has happened, I still find myself wishing to return to there. This is more of an emotional decision, which I am stalling at least for the moment. I loved the simple life over there, but I'm also too used to my top speed WiFi and high standards of living here.

So here's the catch. I would like to find my way into building a life there. Not for retirement, but I'm willing to travel to and fro maybe once every month. For a start, I'm thinking of doing businesses there, just the simple ones. What are the resources of any advice, or form of support you may wish to grant?

I'm not looking into co-investing because I know better that it requires much trust to begin with, so I guess good faith on sharing of such knowledge for a support group will be great. Hey, at least if you visit my stall I can give discount :p We can mutually trade and share in one way or another.
