No Longer Banned

I know there was much concern about my being banned from Cruise Critic for a week, the thread had 124 replies before it was also banned.  The first thing I went to was the Royal Caribbean 2026-2027 season thread.  The Singapore portion of the cruises was supposed to be posted this coming week.  Alas, RCI moved it back to mid March.  I am always anxious to see which cruises, if any, will be visiting b the Philippines.  Back in 2019 RCI and her sister Celebrity Cruises actually ran cruises which stopped in Ilocos, about 20miles north of Vigan.  We actually went to greet the ship, it was a tender port no docking available.  There was all kinds of Filipino music and folk dancing at the landing spot.  Plus plenty of vendors selling anything and everything.

Most of the land excursions sold by the cruise line took the folks into Vigan.  It was the only time I ever saw a white woman in Vigan.  Unfortunately RCI and Celebrity have not scheduled any such cruises postbpandemc

Norwegian Cruise Line does have cruises available next year with stops in Colon and Puerto Princessa, they used to stop in Manila, Subic, Boracay.  I do not want to book any of the lesser known cruise lines, was hoping to cruise out of Hong Kong or Taiwan next year.  Already did the Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand cruises. We also enjoyed Malaysia and Bali, always open to visiting Singapore, where they execute drug dealers and fine you for spitting in public.  Fine is larger if you spit out of a hotel window, as the additional charge is air pollution.  Singapore is a great place to buy Thai mangoes, big, sweet, and cheap.  Only negative I have found is cab companies charge 10% more if you use a credit card.  Always get cash immediately, any leftover can be turned into pesos in Vigan.
