Dude55

Any advice to find or anyone know a reputable attorney/lawyer in Iba or Subic/Olongapo or any points in between for a property dispute.

Any referrals and or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dude 55.

Not trying to be a sticky nose but perhaps if you explain what the dispute is about you may get some good answers to your problem.

Is the property titled? Have you spoken/raised a dispute with the local Barangay? Has the property been surveyed?

I had a dispute with the land owner next door, he owns the vacant lot on the beach here, he tried to buy this property from us and we said no (think he wants to put in a resort). Some months later I approached him advising we were going to put an 8 ft high wall (block and rendered) and what colour would he like his side painted. He said I can't build it there as our property is half a metre inside his, got Ben to get the official surveyors plan from the safe while I showed him the concrete markers and said that if my property is incorrect then the next 5 properties are in the wrong spot, he looked at the plan and said ok, his mistake, a week later he had his own surveyors in using GPS and we never heard another thing.

Long story but resolved with official Documents.

Good luck and hope you don't need to get a mouth piece involved as they like to string things out.

Cheers, Steve.
