Opening a business in Tanger

Hi everyone,

I’m considering opening a small factory in Tangier and personally living in Spain (around Tarifa), with regular travel between the two.

I’d love to hear from anyone who has experience with:

– living in Spain while working or doing business in Morocco,

– regularly crossing the border by ferry,

– or managing a company across Spain–Morocco.

How practical is this in real life (border formalities, time, stress, taxes, unexpected issues)?

Would you recommend it, or is it harder than it looks on paper?

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience — it would really help me make a better decision.

If you’re patient, organized, and emotionally prepared for “why is this stamp missing?” moments, it can work.

If not, you’ll gain wisdom, grey hair, and frequent-ferry-pass miles very fast.

This sounds like a nightmare. You'll go bald in 2 years

That's a good idea, and I can help you with that.
