Snakes /scorpions and the danger to my dogs

We are looking to move to Marrakesh but heard recently that snakes/scorpions are widespread. As we have two dogs we are concerned. We are looking to live outside the city with a garden. Any experience/advice?

Hello, there

It depends where outside the city - I live in a rural area - I have five dogs - I've never had issues with scorpion / snake bites (of course you'd find the odd scorpion once a year - but I don't think they pose a major risk to the kids). Again, it depends on where you are / the environment, etc.
P.S. I keep chickens / ducks, etc... they ensure the whole garden is free of scorpions, etc..
