Deadline After Mixed Marriage Court Approval in Morocco

Hi everyone,


I have a question regarding the mixed-marriage process in Morocco.


Once the Family Court approves and authorises the mixed marriage, is there a specific deadline for signing the marriage contract (Nikah) with the Adoul?


For example, if the court approves the marriage in November 2026, would it be possible to sign the Nikah in January or March 2027, or does the court authorisation expire after a certain period?


If there is a deadline, how long is it, and from what date does the period start?


I would really appreciate it if anyone who has recently gone through the mixed-marriage process in Morocco could clarify this. Thank you.
