New members of the Mauritius forum, introduce yourselves here - 2022
I am a remote worker and will be setting up somewhere in the North or West to have access to everything that I would like nearby.
Being 64, this will be one of my most exciting challenges to date as I've not lived anywhere else in the world, but having visited Mauritius on a few occasions, I know this is where I want to live out my days.
I will be applying for the Retiree Permit as soon as I have the final documents available.
I am hoping to find an apartment where I will be able to literally walk onto the beach, and however hard that will be, it is definitely not something that I am willing to compromise on.
Any guidance and help from the community will be appreciated.

Hello Everyone,
This is my first time on the forum. I am going to retire in Mauritius in September this year. I currently live in Germany and I am happy to meet everyone. I think I have some questions and would be glad for any answer. Thank you in advance for all the help you will provide.
