Import dog to Mauritius

Hi there,
we am planning to move to Mauritius after lockdown on a Premium Visa before converting to an occupational permit. We would like to bring my dog with me.

Has anyone imported a dog on a Premium Visa? Do you know if this is allowed?

It is possible😉

But start vaccine your dog as soon as possible, because it takes approximately 6 months until your dog is ready to travel. They ask for blood tests and vaccinations that is connected to waiting periods until your dog is allowed to enter Mauritius.

Look up on the website of the ministry of accriculter from Mauritius what is required.
