Pets imports in Mauritius

Hey, I'm from France and I work as an investment strategy consultant. I've been living in Mauritius for a year now, but it's only been a few days since I was finally able to bring my Rottweiler over. The procedures are long and expensive, but luckily I was able to rely on Amandine from *** to help me with everything. She knows the ministry staff in charge of admission files very well, which makes the process much easier. And above all, it allows for a much faster response if a document is missing. Once your pet arrives in Mauritius, she takes care of everything; all you have to do is enjoy your companion. Thank you to her for her work and efforts. I highly recommend her!

Hi, thanks for this information. Unfortunately I wont be able to allow my 2 cats to be separated from me and kept in kennels for an entire year.

I cant see any justification for such an inordinate delay on the part of the Mauritian authorities. I'm becoming more convinced that relocation from South Africa to Mauritius may, in fact be a step down instead of up.
