I was happy to find this forum in my search to getting as much information as possible about the European Schools iin Brussel. It is very likely that we will be moving to Brussel this summer for my husbands job and my daughters (16 and 13) will hopefully be enrolled in one of the ES. But ... as I was trying to find out which of the schools would be most suitable for the girls I was suprised to learn you will not get to choose as they will allocate? Is this correct?
I am very curious about this system and hope to read about the experience of the original poster in this thread who has gone through this process a couple of years ago. Thank you!

Hi yes, that's correct. You apply, they allocate the school to you like in a raffle. Unless your language section is only available in one of the schools.
