Hello, my name is Vidura from Sri Lanka, I speak Sinhala, and English and I got a work offer and planning to come to Brussels in early May 2021. my office is in Saint-Gilles, Belgium. I'm married with one son(8 years old) and one girl (1 year old) and they only speak Sinhala(and a little bit of English).
My first concern is the school (primary) for my son. I'm looking for a public school taking into account these points:
-I prefer french school
-I would like to be not so far from Saint-Gilles but prioritizing school and social life.
-I'm not thinking about international schools as they are very expensive.
-Place where have reasonable apartment rental too.
What do you suggest? Where would be the best place to live according to these ideas?

Hard area to get a decent school place. Look east to Etterbeek and ensure the scho is one of nearest to where you live.
