Wondering if there are any parents that have feedback on International Schools in The Hague.

I'm looking to enroll our kid (4 years) into ISH (International School of the Hague), but we're still researching options. Are there any parents with kids attending ISH? Would love to hear your experiences.

I know for a young child a Dutch public school is an option as well. However, I think being in an international environment can be very enriching as well. And the better public schools seem to reach their student cap quickly. It might be hard to enroll while still being abroad

Are there folks that could share experiences? Critical feedback also welcome, or input on other schools

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

When we considered this, International Schools were just out of the question, simply couldn't afford it.  Our kids went to the local Dutch school, today, they are fluent in 3 languages, 2 went on to University in the UK, the other decided to go the engineering route (so technical college) - all are thriving.

If you only intend to stay in the Netherlands for a couple of years (and can afford it), then International schools should certainly be a consideration as they will be taught under a different scheme that will benefit them later as you move on, but other than that, I see no benefit.
