it is just a deal when you saw the daily basis for any company...so u could have a deal with the same company but just tell them i want the car for a month (renewable) !
for sure montly basis will be less than total of the daily basis ...
well if i found any contacts i will post them here...

I just thought I'd post a response here, in case anyone else is looking for the same information I was...

I managed to contact a few car-rental companies that I found around online. I emailed them and asked for quotes, etc to rent a car monthly for 8-10 months. The best price I got was from Budget Rent-a-Car. Their quote was very well put together and outlined all of their terms. Their milage allowance was very reasonable, as were their rates, in my opinion. (They quoted me 160 OR for an "economy car" - ie: Toyota Yaris.) I am sure that if you were there you might be able to get it a bit cheaper - there are probably local renters as well, but this was the best I found.

flying to Muscat in a week and also looking to lease a car on a monthly basis. Does anybody have any updated information on the best and most affordable rental agencies out there at the moment?
