I was recently made redundant and my work visa has been cancelled. Now I don't have a valid permit in Bahrain, I cannot Apply for a job due to the current covid situation.

I'm a British passport holder, does anyone know what kind of visa I need to apply for so I can stay in Bahrain.

Once your work permit is cancelled, you have 30 days to leave. You can approach LMRA / NPRA for an extension which they will probably give due to the situation. Other then that, the only visas you can apply for to stay, outside of work permit, are the self sponsorship visas (if you have property worth 50,000 BD or more) or investor visa (If you have a company CR under your name). Both options I have covered in details on the stickies in the forum.
