Hello everyone.

I really hope you are OK :)

As you are aware, the Covid19 outbreak made earth a smaller place, countries are closing their borders one by one. If they do not close the borders, they limit the access to the national ground.
This is why we thought it would be a good idea to give you an update on that matter.

COVID-19: An update on border control around the world

Stay safe everyone :)

The covid roundup Steve compiled did not cover South America.

....

Ecuador has been the most welcoming to overseas travelers in recent months, allowing passenger flights and relaxing or dropping quarantine restrictions for seniors, under 18s and passengers with covid-negative test results.

Colombia is allowing international passenger traffic as of yesterday, September 1, 2020 .. although few flights seem to be flying in early September.  Officials see November as more likely a time when regular service will be available into and out of the country.  Recent reports from Colombia indicate that a 14-day quarantine may be required of arriving passengers.

Peru has delayed passenger flights in and out until at least December.  Peru has been getting poor results in the covid sphere, especially in the capital city.

Venezuela and Brazil have problems that go well beyond covid.  These are countries to avoid if you have no existing ties to these troubled places.

It's still wintertime in the more distant countries of Argentina and Uruguay, meaning more people are indoors where covid can spread more readily.  So it may not be the best season to visit.
