Inheritance Law - company or trust?

Post new topic

Krikki

I want to pass on an asset in perpetuity - specifically a wood and other land being re-forested. I don't want the asset broken up or taxed beyond what it can sustain (it's not a money-making venture, I just want to protect this piece of nature for future generations). Would a trust or foundation be recognised, is it better to form a limited company, or would standard French inheritance laws do the job?
It's not a massive estate by the way - maybe worth €250K total. Any ideas, suggestions, comments gratefully received!
