Can u pls advice me...that for my employment visa in oman..During medical check up from Gamca, It is mentioned my profession, as an Accountant as per the offer letter....but...the fact is ..my visa would be a teacher visa,but they needed an accountant..so i want to know that, whether it would be a problem for issuing me the visa from the ministry, since in Gamca certificate the profession is of an Accountant??

Hi Safna nujoob,

The reason for the change as mentioned in your profession is quite obvious.

Your employer does not possess the required labour clearance for your job and so they are taking you in on one of their available labour clearances.

Though this is illegal as per the labour laws of the land, many employers resort to this method so that their work does not suffer waiting for that elusive labour clearance to come.

Many first-time expatriates employees are unaware of this and accept, little realising that they are greatly compromising their status as a resident by doing this.
