I heard there is a new rule that people on MM2H can only have a banking relationship with one bank now. please how truthful is this?please advise

Yes that is the rule now but it seems if a mm2h visa holder has more than one relationship already they can continue. The new rule is applied to new mm2h approvals and the bank where the Fixed Deposit is placed will be the only bank they can deal with.
