I understand that the Sarawak MM2H application and approval system has been shifted to the Sarawak immigration department and that there might be some signification changes effective January 2019. I am eager to know if expat members can give me an idea about those likely changes. Many thanks.

As far as I know it has always been handled by the Immigration Dept. That was certainly the case when I paid them a visit in September 2018. The Ministry of Tourism 'One Stop Shop' was only checking over the forms to see that applicants had filled them in correctly, then passing them on to Immigration. Cinnamonape submitted his directly to Immigration.
