My contract has ended and EP is in process of cancellation. My child is in school and I intend to stay until his term ends in December. How many days you are given to leave Malaysia after EP is cancelled? Is there a way I can stay until December allowing my child to complete his school term?

An EP is shortened to the date of the flight you are leaving Malaysia on. 2 extra days are given beyond the flight date in case of delays
I don't think it would be possible to remain on the EP until December if you are no longer working but you should contact immigration for assistance.
I've heard that extensions after finishing work can be made for up to 30 days but it sounds like you need to ask for an exception because of your child's schooling.
