I came to Malta last year with an impression of a country needing to catch up with the rest of Europe.
Business, Technology and the property market.
What a shock when i arrived.
Gaming Companies flocking to Malta, Financial institutions, Fintech, CryptoCurrency
Seeing whats happening in Malta now, I think the rest of Europe is worried.
Malta has kept its history, its traditions and still welcomes the world with open arms.
Business is better then it ever was.
Jobs are being created in the hundreds daily.
Yields on property are fantastic.

What more can Malta Achieve ?

I certainly agree with your opening paragraph, but not sure on the rest.
There is more to life than gambling and bitcoin and one day when the bubble bursts, where will Malta be then.
Infrastructure is poor, corruption rife.
Europe has nothing to worry about other than the millions of Euros it throws at Malta whilst Malta sticks its fingers up to EU regulations.

Sorry if that sound pessimistic but that's how I see it.
