How to set up a business in Gibraltar

Post new topic

Glint

I aim to set up a small company in Gibraltar.

I was informed I should seek an assistance from a lawyer, but I would like to do it myself in order to save costs.

I have just got my first Gibraltar temporary resident card, the business will not require any government licences, preferably it would be a limited company or Gibraltar equivalent.

The business will be providing services locally in Gib and have no employees apart from myself at this stage.

In the UK in order to establish a limited company one can fill in an online form, pay £20 and business registration documents come by post the following day. I assume in Gibraltar the process would involve going personally to some govt department, but I have no idea on where to go and what forms to fill, and also what are the requirements (minimum capital?).

Could you share your advice on how should I do it?
