Depends which sector. Skilled or unskilled. 2-3 yrs experience  after degree is required for skilled jobs so fresh grads rarely get a work permit.

The Malaysian job market is not like the middle East. Malaysians get priority. No foreign hires if skills are in Malaysian workforce. Supervisory roles and middle management positions to be held by Malaysians.

There are only a few sectors where expats work. These are mainly IT and call centres

Depends on the IT skills but software engineering jobs start at about rm5-7k per month. Coding is the main job area for Foreigners.
