Dear All,
I was trying to find out what is the local govt/municipality rule for the frequent pest control in the accommodation building where tenants stay. My land lord says that it is not his responsibility.
Can we approach govt if land lord denies carrying out this?
Who will pay for pest control? Land lord or Tenant?

Depends on what is written in your contract. However since this is a pest control issue; you can complain to the municipality and see what they say.

Landlord was earlier adamant that no rule of doing pest control quarterly or half yearly.However he did that free:).
According to me its land lord duty to give pest control contract to some agency and get it done in accommodation bldg. every 6 months atleast.
