Uruguay is highly computerized and has all the standard apps ...
For the major stores and malls, for transit, etc., etc....I would recommend simply typing Montevideo or Uruguay into the Google Play store search bar and pick and choose from there.
But even better than the apps are the hundreds of Uruguay groups and forums of all shades and colors and tendencies on Facebook. Uruguay is a country heavily into Facebook. It is a great place to test the waters in terms of Uruguay apps, meet new friends and so forth on and so on.
