Hi,
Could anyone help me to understand the tax calculation in Belgium?

I'm British living in London, and currently considering a salaried job in Belgium. I'm not required to be based in office but will do some weekly commute 2-3 times a month.  My initial thought was that the tax would be nearly 50%, but I might be wrong.

I'm single have a grown up child but still in university in London hence financial dependent.

Many thanks for help.

Hi Jen,

It depends what tax band you fall under. Here is a quick summary from PwC: http://taxsummaries.pwc.com/ID/Belgium- … al-income.

Kind regards,
