Hi Everyone,
I'm from the philippines. I got work at mauritius ,at first I don't know what steps should I do first.,but reading this forum it help me to understand everything..But one thing I would like to ask is, after I get the OP do I need to go back first to my home place and then back to mauritius?please advice..

Hi Adelci,
you won't have to exit and enter the country again. But you must initially enter the country with a business visa

I still confused..One of the requirements before entering to maritius is a proof of travel arrangement, a copy of airline tickets showing entry and departure from mauritius, so i thought it is a mandatory that you need to go home first then back to mauritius to work.. Can you please explain to me the whole process.. Thank you so much..

First you need to find the job and secure your contract of employment.
Then you move to Mauritius on a business visa (required: a return ticket).
On the island, the employer will do your Occupation Permit procedure.
Once you have the document, you can stay.
If you follow the above, you don't need to leave the island and come back to take-up employment.
