Hey guys,

So i am returning back to singapore next week after 4 months here for work. Has been such a good experience .

With the utilities under my name, i am looking for some guidance to terminate water and electricity. From the respective website, i can see an option to stop services but my concern is if i am still able to make online payments after terminating the service or will my online account also be closed? One more thing is i have to close out my banco popular and whether i can pay with a foreign credit card for the final bill online? Can anyone help please or have experience in closing their utility account?

I believe your account will still be open. Just terminated services. I did this, when I moved from one town to another. The account stays, so if you come back, your account will still be in their system, under your name. Many live here in winter, then go back to the U.S. in summer.

Hey thanks mate. Alright, because I have no one to assist me and i was thinking who I could send the final bill too but since that is the case. thank you so much.

So did you make the payment for your final bill through the website as well?

You can make payments after terminating services, you will be able to log in your account and make payments. I do believe that if you have a deposit on the utilities, you may have to go in person to claim it.

Thanks . I did call the AAA and AAE and they said the deposit will automatically offset whatever is the final bill.
