Allowance for Married status in Germany

Post new topic

DelrosPH

Hello, We are married couple (German spouse/Filipina wife) since Dec 2015. My question: is my husband entitled to additional allowance from Dec 2015 onwards for being in married status even though I was only able to get my visa and enter Germany in June 2017?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, if you earn sufficiently well and he is financially strained, your husband is, under German law, entitled to support from you.

Sorry but I cannot understand what you are actually asking here. What do you mean by allowance? And from whom? Are you talking about his pay or some kind of benefits from the government or what?  Beppi responded that he is now finacially responsible for you which is true but doesn't seem to be what you are asking. Please clarify!
