Protests Continue in Bali Over Benoa Land Reclamation

While not specifically mentioned in the above linked article, I'm hearing that these protests are continually growing. 

As I've often written here in the past, the Balinese are growing more and more aware of the real price to be paid for continued and unabated development.  And they are growing increasingly frustrated, if not outright angered by decisions of this kind being made by powers outside of the Province and its Regencies.

I've been following this story with some interest since you first mentioned it.
I have to agree, locals should come before these sorts of things.
Quality of life doesn't mean sacks of cash, or even a long life, just one where you're happy.

I wonder how this is going.
Has it died a death, or have the protesters been heard?
