I am moving to Melbourne in September with my husband and two girls.I have been looking as Glen Iris,Glen Waverley, Sandringham, Cheltenham.
Can someone advise if there are good train lines from the above areas to CBD.?
Are these family friendly.
I need to have good catholic Schools.The girls are 9 and 6.

Hi There.
I have just moved to Melbourne. I am living in Fairfield, which is a lovely suburb with excellent schools close by.
It is also very close to train station and approx 15minutes to the CBD on the train.
Has cafes restaurants, supermarkets, and speciality shops, lots of lovely suburbs close by.

hmm, all the cities you have stated there quite far from the city. but the train line is really good. the schools as you mentions are could be found in all places.
