If you are looking for a job you may have a problem. It's very difficult to get a work visa. Indians can work here and now also Chinese, I think. But westerners, it's difficult. You would need to work for the UN or some other international agency.
You could also get a business visa. There are many possibilities for developing Nepal.
The weather in the Kathmandu Valley is lovely and this is the place with the most opportunities.

If you are seo specialist you an work for travel agencies, if you just stay for volunteer go outsite Kathmandu valley. There are many places to spend 3 months. If you just want to enjoy with nature. You can stay in Pokhara, Chitwan or Kathmandu.

I think I was wrong about the Chinese. They were going to do that when India was pushing Nepal to China, but don't think that is right. They can just come for a few months without a visa charge.
