Hi Guys,

I currently do all my work remotely, and am investigating moving to Pointe Aux Canonnier. My question is , would this be the best option? What are the nice areas in Mauritius that aren't around tourists?

Do you mean tourists or/and expatriates?

Tourists are all around the coast where there are beaches  and sometimes in-land . PAC is near GrandBaie and there are many tourists there since it is located between GBaie and Mont Choisy

Less tourist oriented areas would be in the centre of the island in Plaines Wilhems

Black River District only see's a small number of tourists, as it is mostly a residential area, although there are some small hotels and self catering apartments.
