Best sim for phoning the UK

Hello folks
Just wanted to know if anyone has found a good provider for a sim only pay as you go for calls back to the UK
I have checked. Vodaphone today but it's cheaper to use my UK sim on O2 ....I found that kind of odd
I am going to check out melita and go in the next couple of days
But would love to hear from some expats on what you use
