Notarization for Bank Account opening form

Hi Friends, Experts and readers,

I need to know where i can notarize my Joint account bank form in Muscat. Purpose is to applying for a new joint NRO account in Kolkata which need notaries from here for my signature on the blank form.

Please advice.

Hi BhaskarHM,

Suggest you check with the bankers on what the specific procedures are.

Most expatriate bank accounts here are either salary accounts or loan accounts.

Dear Sumitran,

Many thanks for your advice and foremost for the quick reply. Actually I want to open a joint NRO account at Axis bank in Kolkata branch with my wife ( She is in India now) therefore that application form i need to sign and notarize here and send it to kolkata for rest of the task. Bank people said that we need notarize to prove that I Bhaskar myself signed the form. This is the situation..
