Job hunting, Dar

Hi,

Moving to Dar for September 2015. I currently work as a software developer in Foreign Exchange at HSBC London. I've been looking at a couple of jobs online but they all seem a bit vague! Is it easiest to move to Dar and find a job or are there other ways to do it from the UK?

hi, jobs for foreigners not easy to find unless you have tz residency. Lots of red tape to get the necessary work permits, even need a permit to volunteer. ideally have a job lined up before you arrive and make sure all permits in place. If you are Tanzanian it will be easier but the cost of living is very high so a job offer in advance would enable you to budget. Do your homework before you arrive. Good luck. Hope it works out.
