Please can someone advise me on the amount of dollars I will be allowed to carry to Mauritius from Ghana.

up to 10K Euros and above that you will need to justify the reason for such a large sum - All in all you have to declare how much you are carrying when you land and go through immigration.

If you are coming as a visitor or tourist , you will need to specify that you have sufficient fund to meet the minimum costs of your stay (US$100 per night)
