Job market for Americans in KL?

Hi all,
I run a company that helps Americans move to Asia, and I was wondering if you think that Malaysia is friendly job market to foreigners with highly desirable skills.  I understand that there's a certain amount of red tape in working in any foreign country. The question is whether or not employers are willing to hire Americans. Perhaps it's only American companies with operations in Malasyia. Or perhaps there's simply no job market at all.

This is not a solicitation, but here's an example of a fellow we are assisting - just to give you a flavor of our clientele.
•    Founder and CEO of successful manufacturing services company, focused on electronic and photovoltaic product realization. Company capabilities include; design, build, test and distribution to market, on a contract basis for a broad range of technology companies.
•    Managed and led multi-national teams of up to 200 staff members, with profit, revenue and cash flow accountability to boards of directors and shareholders.
•    Lived and worked in Southeast Asia for 16 years
•    US citizen married to Singaporean citizen.
