Is 30000AED per month good enough for a family of 4

Hi,

I would like to know if 30,000 AED per month is good enough (Dubai/Abu Dhabi) considering the below

1) Family of 4 (2 children both going to school)
2) Need to save atleast 10,000 AED per month (minimum)
3) House within city limits (if not in the heart of the city)
4) Occasional partying (beer/wine twice in a month)
5) Food at restaurant once in a week
6) Unexpected medical emergency needs
7) Renting a Car
8) Medical insurance in case company provided insurance is not enough

Would be glad to know opinion from the people who have been living here for a long time

yes decent salary and you can save 10K easily

Only good if it will also include housing, insurance and trasportation. Otherwise 30k about what my company pay for a average villa in an average place.

Not sure if you could do saving while having a family of four... But it is decent salary.
