Hi there,

moving to Gibraltar is not a good idea unless you have the exact great experience to work here or knowledge of foreign languages. Rent is £600 a month at the cheapest for a 1 bedroom and flats are small.

I don't think you can just move to Gibraltar and start claiming benefits, it doesn't seem to work that way.

Me and my partner are 24, we moved over here in February looking for work (we have university degrees and good work backgrounds within Finance) but we are finding it difficult to find any type of work, it's really not a good situation to be in.

Unless you have a lot of money to support yourselves and the people that you are caring for there is no point to you coming over.

The grass always seems greener on the other side, that's something we have found out the hard way. Unless we get jobs sorted pretty soon we will have to return to the UK and in all honesty we are not too miserable about going back because it's like Britain 20 years back in Gib. Living here is expensive, it's not a dream life.
